- Summary of this article：This study examined sex-specific socioeconomic disparities in cardiovascular health (CVH) among 31,141 Korean adults aged 25-64 from the 2007-2017 Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey. Using Life’s Simple 7 metrics and latent class analysis, four socioeconomic status (SES) classes were identified. Lower SES was linked to poorer CVH, particularly among women, where those with the lowest SES had significantly reduced odds of ideal CVH (OR: 0.55). The SES gradient was less pronounced in men. Targeted, sex-specific interventions are needed to reduce SES-related disparities in CVH.
