- Summary of this article：This population-based study analyzed 7,936 COVID-19 patients to assess the effect of booster vaccination on post-COVID-19 condition (PCC) during the Omicron wave. Patients with ≥3 vaccine doses before infection had a 30% lower risk of PCC (OR: 0.70; 95% CI: 0.53-0.90), particularly in women and for neurological symptoms. No significant benefit was observed with one or two doses or for respiratory symptoms. These findings suggest booster vaccination may reduce the risk of PCC, especially in certain subgroups.
