- Summary of this article：This 42-year ecological study in Japan found that during deflationary periods, a higher active job openings-to-applicants ratio was significantly associated with increased ambulance dispatches. No such association was observed during inflationary periods. These findings suggest that macroeconomic conditions, especially in deflation, may influence emergency medical service utilization.
- 論文の要約：本研究は1980～2021年の日本における救急搬送データを用い、景気動向との関連を検討した。その結果、デフレ期における有効求人倍率の上昇が救急搬送件数の増加と有意に関連していた。インフレ期ではこの関連は認められなかった。
