- Summary of this article：In this nationwide Japanese cohort of 4,444 pregnant women, urinary dialkyl phosphate (DAP) metabolites were measured to assess organophosphate exposure. Higher concentrations of some metabolites were weakly associated with longer gestation and lower risks of preterm birth or low birth weight, but associations lost significance after correction. No robust link with birth weight was found. Overall, antenatal OP exposure showed no consistent association with pregnancy outcomes.
